The Maxi dress is in handwoven chanderi, a lightweight, sheer, slightly crisp cotton-silk blend with the characteristic soft sheen chanderi is known for.  The dress has a bold, hand-printed lotus motif, single lotus flowers with slender stems scattered across the ivory ground, rendered in a soft coral-pink with fine linear detailing on the petals. 

This dress is a sleeveless, fit-and-flare maxi dress. Fitted through the bodice and a defined waist panel, then releases into a soft gathered skirt that falls to ankle length. Deep V-neckline in front, with wide straps that extend into the bodice seams. A banded, fitted waist panel sits at the natural waist and visually defines the waist.
